The inn "Beim Sedlmayr" enjoys true cult status in the heart of Munich's Old Town. Thanks in no small part to its namesake, Walter Sedlmayr: The popular actor, director, and author opened the restaurant in February 1989 and gave it heart, brains, and character.

Starting in July 2024, the inn underwent a dramatic renovation in just 12 months. Old bricks were dismantled and rebuilt, part of the kitchen was relocated to the courtyard, and the dining area was enlarged. But what are we talking about? Come to "Beim Sedlmayr" and see for yourself!
