Spatenhaus an der Oper
Munich hospitality in its truest form in two variations: straightforward Bavarian on the ground floor, refined and opulent on the upper floor. The Spatenhaus is a living, breathing space - you'll notice it in the ambience and enjoy it in the food.
There is a saying in Munich that the most beautiful part of the State Opera House is the chance from being sat at the Spatenhaus. There is no doubt that there is a special link between the Opera and its square on which the Spatenhaus has the best seat in the house.
FOOD
As per tradition we focus on high-quality, mostly regional products. Whether this may be a tender ox cheek, a fresh char, a tender savoy cabbage. You may indulge in the desire for a tasty braised meat and a vegetable dish or the feeling of home when enjoying a classic pastry.
And of course you should drink! The carefully selected wines in the house - starting with the uncomplicated Kuffler Edition in white, rosé and red - and the fresh Spaten beer from the barrel is not something to miss.
EVENTS
There is always a reason to celebrate if you ask us! The private rooms in the Spatenhaus serve this exact purpose. We can cater for anything from a small, intimate party of 10 to a proper party 120. Rooms can be taken over for private parties.
